X-L Synergy

X-L Synergy is a privately held Texas limited liability company located in El Paso, Texas, USA .

Since its founding in 1996, the Company has been developing a base of intellectual property, primarily related to electrical shock protection. Consumer products that have their genesis at X-L Synergy include the Faultless Plug® line of electrical shock protection cordsets, programmable cordset appliance controllers, and the Magic Dimmer/Magic Fader^TM lamp controllers. X-L Synergy has developed arc fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) technology for 60 Hz AC applications and 270 volt and up DC applications, both under contract and through in-house R&D.

X-L Synergy personnel serve on a number of regulatory standards committees for electrical safety, including Underwriters Laboratories STP 943 (ground fault) and STP 1699 (arc fault), and the SAE AE7 committee on aviation electrical systems.
