In House Arc Fault Research Since its inception in 1996, X-L Synergy has maintained an active research program in arc fault management. In the late 1990's this led to the Company's first commercial products, the Faultless Plug® and the OnSentryTM line of appliance outlets, both offering arc fault protection for 60 Hz commercial systems. In 2002, the Company began the extension of this technology to 400 Hz systems and in 2004, the Company began researching arc management for 270 VDC systems under Air Force sponsorship.
