A Faultless Plug® cordset protects against a shock from an appliance.
One significant advantage of the patented, all-electronic Faultless Plug® is that cordset size and cost scale to the application. For applications requiring an average of 2.5 amperes or less, the Faultless Plug® can be built into a standard sized molded plug. For applications requiring higher currents, a variety of configurations are possible including an oversized plug or a panel or wall mount design.
In the home of the future, all appliances within the home will be managed under remote control from a central computer. Since the Faultless Plug® already uses a custom integrated circuit, features such as the ability to transfer fault information or an appliance identifier code to a remote computer can be easily added to the Faultless Plug®'s integrated circuit at little additional cost over the cost of fault protection alone. It is now economically feasible to invest in solid state fault protection and simultaneously build in features that will make the appliance smart-house ready for the future. As such, the
Faultless Plug®
represents a bridge to the day when all appliances and houses are smart.
OnSentryTM

The OnSentryTM shock protection modules were originally developed with a CEBus® interface to give both appliance control as well as shock protection. The technology can be applied to exclusively stand-alone (no CEBus®) shock protection.
X-L Synergy welcomes inquiries on adding AC line control and electrical shock protection to other lighting and appliance control products.
